Saales is a full sister to Jib, and lives in Montana with owner, Nancy Creel who does top-level agility competion with her Border Collies --and Saales is now well on her way to the top too!  Saales arrived from France in July, 2001 & immediately took charge of Nancy's children. Saales also showed the BCs a thing or 2 about herding --much to Nancy's amazement! Although just a pup, she immediately succeeding in getting the sheep to do things the (much older & better-trained) BCs could not!

She is now taking the flyball & agility worlds by storm. At the Bozeman NADAC trials, Saales earned 3 titles and won the new NADAC versatility award! She got her 2nd and 3rd leg in each class over the weekend and also earned some Open legs. With those three titles she earned NADAC's new Novice Versatility Award. She qualified in 9 out of 12 runs. On the second day she was winding down. At age one & a half, she definately was not yet ready to be at her best over an entire weekend. The best is yet to come! She was first place in 8 of her 12 classes - that's all except the 3 NQs and one where a very experienced American Eskimo beat her in the weavers class by one second. On Saturday Saales was HIT Novice dog over 43 dogs. She was also a member of the winning team over 10 other teams!

We have to add a Border Collie brag here:

Nancy writes: "My rescue Border Collie, Kili, finished her NADAC NATCH (12 elite jumpers, 12 elite gamblers, 23 elite regular Qs) this weekend. She needed 2 more elite gamblers for the honor and had perfect gambles both days. She is the first Montana started dog to earn an agility Championship in any venue."

Congratulations Kili!
since May 5, 2003
In June, 2003, Saales became a Flyball Champion with 689 points in 40 races! Her team, the Montana Maniacs "A", set a new record time for the state (22.106) with Saales as height dog.
